Speckled Stoneware Bottle with Cork Stopper

Speckled stoneware bottle with cork stopper. These small round bottles have been made from speckled stoneware clay. The interior of each bottle has been glazed with a transparent glaze to hold liquid. The exterior of the bottle has been left unglazed or half-glazed with transparent glaze to showcase the unusual speckled clay. Fully glaze-lined to hold liquid. A beautiful, unusual piece for storing liquids, or lovely as a vase for showcasing small stems and flowers. Also beautiful as a decorative piece.
